Follows established nursing standards, procedures and practices and gives specific patient care directions to nursing and other staff. Position functions under the supervision of physician. Individualizes patient care by assessment, integration, examination and implementation of care plan. Communicates with supervising physician in reference to clinical diagnosis of patients, reviews diagnostic studies and administers plan. Coordinates referral for needed services. Participates in managing the daily functions of the clinic to maximize efficiencies.
