Registered Nurse - ASU

The ambulatory surgery registered nurse demonstrates expertise in the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of the surgical patient, integrating the components of teacher, clinician, and consultant, to promote a positive patient care environment from admission to discharge. Exposed to normal ambulatory surgery patient care environment. Must have at least 1-2 years medical/surgical nursing experience. Must have current BLS and ACLS certification, PALS certification preferred. 4. Must have passed NLN Basic Proficiency in Medication Administration Examination administered by Mercy Memorial Hospital Education Department. Critical care experience is preferred.
